Hi,

I’ve tried all the suggestions here, however, I’m still getting the error messages of either was unable to save media attachment or was unable to save because temporary folder could not be found.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Another reason this error will occur
Under Network Admin/ Network Settings/ Upload file types don’t use commas between file extensions

Thanks Johnny, I thought you had the answer for me, but it still won’t work for me, running PHP as CGI or FastCGI. I’m using Plesk on my hosting account.

I tried everything which didn’t work. Ultimately your post pointed me to the exact error. I switched hosts and Settings->Media was set to the old URL….

Hi,
I came across your post and all my file permissions were
correct. I eventually found the cause of the problem. I was running
PHP5 and running php as an Apache module on my shared hosting account.
This meant that I was bound to the configuration of the default php.ini
file. So to get over this problem I made a change to run PHP5 as a CGi
application. Problem solved.

Set the permission of that folder to 0755. You can do that using any FTP Client.
