Could you share with me?
Its not necesary the entire iso but the .gho file(s)

That's my favourite feature in Asus netbook - recovery partition. I thought I'd give it a try and mess with my other 3 computers just to have hidden recovery partition. I used Asus ENVIR.GHO on every laptop (Toshiba, Dell, HP) and it came out it doesnt matter what size the disks are. It always calculate optimum size for every partition. Then, like Deepak Mittal wrote, I copied my own images of every OS I have on particular laptop and that's it. Worked every time.

@Suhas
For that, in second last step instead of copying \Recovery from the DVD, just copy your own ghost image. And thats about it :)

Hi,

Very nice article. Really appreciate!!

I have both the WinPE and Restore partitions intact in my 1005HA. Just wanted to know how I can update the existing GHOST image with the new one which contains the basic softwares I need in XP whenever I restore it.

Regards,
Suhas
